Glenn Henry III

Glenn Henry III as Paul McCartney - Glenn is the leader, founder and creator of Paperback Writer-Born in the Los Angeles area, Glenn grew up in Santa Barbara, California, beginning a musical career at the age of 8. Born the first son of Professional musicians, his father was a big band leader (later became agent) and his mother the vocalist. Glenn has 4 brothers and 1 sister. Glenn was self taught on the guitar at age 8 and began piano lessons at the age of 10. He switched to bass at age 12 and later studied bass while in his 20’s with Los Angeles session great (Guitar Player magazine bass columnist), Herb Mickman. Having played in several top 40 bands Glenn began to network in the Los Angeles area grabbing an occasional jingle session in the early 80’s. His early career culminated with a recording project produced by the late great "Toto" legendary founder drummer Jeff Porcaro in 1980. Glenn recorded 3 tracks with some of the other members of the group "Toto". In 2001 Glenn co-founded The Beach Toys with a drummer friend giving rise to his tribute career. Glenn created the Beatles show to perform with his Beach Boys show in 2003. The group was then called “Rubber Soul” after one of Glenn’s favorite albums. Legalities forced a name change in 2004 so Glenn changed the name to his first ever owned Beatles 45 record, Paperback Writer. Glenn developed both the Beach Boys Show and the Beatles show simultaneously working hard to promote both shows landing cruise line contracts in 2005 as well as developing a contract with Disney Entertainment in 2006 for his Beach Boys show. Not long after that, Paperback Writer became a Disney favorite too.
